- Create as many flashcards as necessary covering information about Medieval and Renaissance music
- During class at the end of the 3rd Six Weeks, students will listen to examples of Medieval and Renaissance music and determine the time period in which it was written and/or the specific composition.

Turn in project #1 - 5-page research paper with a bibliography. One major work from a different era than the previous subject. Paper should be typed and double-spaced with a 12-point font and one-inch margins covering aspects of the subjects such as (a) stylistic/technical demands of the music, (b) the composer’s biographical data, and/or (c) historical, economic, and political backgrounds of the period in which the composition was written and their effects on the music.
